From St Brigid and the oystercatcher to the swan as a symbol for MacNeil’s galley, birds have long been central to Gaelic folklore traditions. Nuair a Bha Gàidhlig aig na h-Eòin weaves traditional and original songs with bird calls and music. Led by Màiri MacMillan with Alana MacInnes (pipes), Pàdruig Morrison (accordion), Shona Morrison (fiddle) and Gillebrìde MacMillan (voice).
